Louis Vuitton "Volez, Voguez, Voyagez" -- Another Look at the Exhibition in New York
A beautiful collection of what Louis Vuitton has excelled at for generations and for decades....the creation of works of art.....not just luggage....not just dresses.....but a variety of things used in life.
The New York Exhibition presents in a beautiful display the wide variety of creations. What is amazing also is that the former trading floor space is used to highlight this......the show was created in about 24 days...using craftsman for 24 hours a day to make this Exhibition possible.
The Exhibition itself is amazing for the amount of detail and workmanship put into it......it is truly a gift to be able to attend this Exhibition. It is open for viewing from Friday October 27, 2017 until Sunday January 7, 2018.
I think the highlight of the event are the beautiful dresses worn by the celebrities. The dresses are just beautiful to see in person......exquisitely created....and works of art ....when seen in person......and also the video provides a view of what the dresses looked like on the celebrities at their respective events.

Curated by Olivier Saillard, the exhibition retraces the adventure of the House of Louis Vuitton from 1854 to the present. A story told through the portraits of its founders, as well as those who today are inventing the
Louis Vuitton of tomorrow.
This historic journey, designed by Robert Carsen, is divided into ten chapters, one of which is entirely devoted to the United States of America and New York City. The tour opens with the most symbolic object of the House: the trunk, a model fashioned with contemporary flair, embodying the iconic hallmarks and bold spirit of Louis Vuitton. The exhibition features objects and documents from the Louis Vuitton heritage archives, as well as select articles on loan from the Palais Galliera and the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. The exhibition concludes with a display devoted to the savoir-faire of the artisans in the Louis Vuitton workshops.
