Green Gown Award Finalist: Research and Development at CSF

The Centre for Sustainable Fashion has been working on a project called Local Wisdom. Local Wisdom is research project run by Professor Kate Fletcher exploring the ‘craft’ of using garments. These ‘use practises’ are about creative actions and ideas, which are often neglected in conversations about fashion and business but are potential agents of change in tackling some of the problems we face as a global community.
The project had a network of international partners in the UK, USA, Canada, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand. The project was selected as a finalist in the Green Gown Awards 2014.
