For the first performance of the 2021 dance season, the costumes of the two Étoile dancers Valentine Colasante and Hugo Marchand have been created especially by CHANEL under the direction of Virginie Viard. Celestial and poetic motifs, delicately embroidered by hand in the ateliers at the House of Lesage, illuminate both feminine and masculine silhouettes. The two dreamlike costumes renew the timeless magic of the famous pas de deux ‘Grand Pas Classique’, choreographed by Victor Gsovsky.
