The sacai x Nike Vapor Waffle „Royal Fuchsia“ is the latest silhouette to be unveiled between Chitose Abe's legendary Sacai fashion house and the Swoosh brand.
Once again Sacai chooses to create a hybrid-style silhouette, merging together the best aspects of two shoes to form a brand-new look. Upon a closer look, the chunky runners showcase Nike branding in the form of two overlaid double Swoosh logos, similar to both the LDWaffle’s and Blazer’s from last year. Mesh, suedes and leather are combined to form a texture look, while the model retains an overall athletic feel. The colorway takes on a pure platinum and light bone look, with the double tongue also a characterising feature.
Underfoot, two soles are combined to form an articulated midsole for the vibrant pair, with an exaggerated heel section that’s guaranteed to turn a few heads. A waffle rubber outsole sits below the layered midsole, similar to that from the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle.
