Presenting the new campaign video for the Gucci Spring Summer 2017 collection. In this film, by Glen Luchford, a band of artists and colorful characters collide in the streets of Rome, feasting on hamburgers dressed in evening gowns, hanging out with tigers and lions and partying in a marble fountain. Inspired by generations of intellectuals and artists that considered Rome to be their home town, some by birth, others through cultural adoption, this campaign is an homage to personalities like Cy Twombly, Mario Schifano and Laura Betti. The result is a series of compelling stories that champions Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s richly textured collections and accessories on unconventional individuals in the eternal city.
