Starting from a meticulously rendered sketch, the 'Tie & Dior' Haute Joaillerie collection by Victoire de Castellane is brought to life through the peerless excellence of the House's savoir-faire. In the ateliers, the artisans mount round, oval, pear and marquise-cut stones in complex prong settings. With emeralds, pink and blue sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines, tsavorite garnets, spinels and rubies, interplays of color both bold and delicate can be created using subtly different nuances to create a visual sense of rhythm, one enhanced by the additional use of lustrous pearls in unusual hues.
