The stars of this story are wearing cropped polo shirts, denim jackets and pleated tennis skirts, in classic white and blue with sporty stripes, that continue the play on cut and proportion first seen on the Miu Miu Paris runway for Spring/Summer 2022. These are complemented by silk ballet flats and knickers and a selection of bags, including the new Miu Wander, crafted in iconic matelassé leather in delicate shades of pink, powder blue, ivory and, of course, red. Bright bijoux, hair slides, bucket hats and sunglasses with dark lenses and bold acetate logoed frames finish the picture. The overall mood is as playfully provocative as it is self-assured – and with a wardrobe to match.
