For the seventh edition of the Rendez-vous littéraires rue Cambon [Literary Rendezvous at Rue Cambon], the House of CHANEL along with ambassador and spokesperson for the House Charlotte Casiraghi invite writer Léonora Miano.
Animated by literary historian Fanny Arama, this encounter begins with the presentation of the writer’s singular career, from her childhood in Cameroun to being awarded the most prestigious of literary prizes. Actress and House ambassador Anna Mouglalis reads excerpts from Léonora Miano’s latest book, “Stardust”, in which she develops an emancipatory vision of motherhood. Together, they also evoke the role that literature can play in a lifetime and the way Toni Morisson provided other female role models throughout her work according to Léonora Miano.
