Brooklyn-based artist, Trouble Andrew is a now well-known collaborator of Alessandro Michele, after the creative director integrated his graffiti style prints into Gucci’s collections. Already a protagonist of the new gucci4rooms.com microsite, Trouble Andrew’s ghost is also a key character of his three-dimensional Gucci Ghost Room he exclusively created for Ginza Dover Street Market. It turns up as a graffiti monogram in different sizes and colors over walls, furniture and mannequins. The ghost is a symbol of the installation that becomes visionary journey through the House’s emblems and symbols. Inside the room, mannequins and animals become sculptures, expanding in scale and generating narrative interactions, mixing art and fashion, two-dimensional and three-dimensional images, real life and fiction.
