CHANEL is honoured to be supporting the restoration of "Paris, Texas", a film directed by Wim Wenders for which he won the Palme d'Or in 1984. The restored version of Paris, Texas has been premiered in the Cannes Classics category of the 77th Cannes Film Festival, celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Palme d’Or. On this occasion, Wim Wenders reflects on the genesis of this major work and evokes his relationship to time, "the essential material of what we do in cinema".
